Circle through any three non-collinear points

Investigate the relationship between the point of intersection of the perpendicular bisectors of a triangle and the circle drawn through its vertices. Click and drag any of the blue points to change the shape and orientation of the triangle ABC. What do you observe? Check your conjecture by revealing the property.

  1. Does the point of intersection of the perpendicular bisectors always lie within the triangle?
  2. Is the property also true for the situation described in question (1)?
